How POPFLEX Found Out Taylor Swift Wore Them through Archive

About POPFLEX
POPFLEX is an activewear brand dedicated to solving problems for women, from adding invisible pockets to eliminating cameltoe. The brand is known for balancing form and function, and for building a diverse, inclusive, body-positive community.
Kristen Klochko manages influencer relations and brand partnerships at POPFLEX. With about 1,500 influencers in her gifting program, Kristen needed a way to manage those relationships, track incoming content, and make sure she never misses a post. That’s when she found Archive.
The Challenge
Through its thriving gifting program and organic community enthusiasm, POPFLEX had UGC pouring in nonstop. But manually capturing every post, story, and video was impossible, and spreadsheet tracking meant post-level stats were almost instantly out of date.
Kristen was running everything in the Instagram app. She checked her notifications and DMs for tagged UGC, and took a screenshot of every piece of content posted by an activated influencer. Then she sent each individual screenshot to the POPFLEX team in Slack. Finally, she doubled back to track each post and log its metrics.
If Kristen didn’t log in to IG every single day, she was guaranteed to miss out on content, especially stories.
“When we got Archive, I didn't have to do those screenshots anymore. My phone wasn't loaded with a ton of pictures of people posting in POPFLEX. Archive just automatically sent it through, which was really nice.”
Kristen started searching for a way to do more with POPFLEX’s UGC, without staying glued to her phone and getting lost in an Excel spreadsheet. As soon as she got Archive, everything changed.
The Solution
Now all of POPFLEX’s tagged UGC streams into Archive automatically. Kristen never has to worry about missing a post when she takes a day off.
“It's really nice to go into Archive every week, see what was posted, and be able to download it if I need to, versus having to capture it manually in real time.”
- Filters: Follower count and date range filters surface content from specific influencers or launch campaigns.
- Reports: Pulling monthly reports makes it easy to track program performance and see how content count and engagement metrics change.
- Creator Search: It’s easy for Kristen to search for specific influencer demographics and interest groups, like dancers, hikers, or ice skaters.
Although she is still focused on gifted influencers, seeing all of POPFLEX’s content in one place helps Kristen find organic UGC gems too. Now Kristen uses Archive to identify those “magic moments” and start new influencer relationships with enthusiastic fans.
“If we didn't have Archive tracking everything, we would have missed it. It turns into a really beneficial partnership on both ends.”
What really sold POPFLEX on Archive was the Slack integration. Every time someone tags POPFLEX, Archive sends a notification directly to Slack. The alert criteria are fully customizable too.
“We really liked that we can see who's posting so quickly in Slack versus having to go into Instagram DMs.”
The Results
With Archive, Kristen can manage all the UGC from her influencer program in one place. Automating her workflow with reliable content capture and efficient tracking has allowed her to double her database; there are now 3,000 influencers in the POPFLEX program.
“There is definitely a lot less need to be constantly checking each of our influencers’ posts manually. Because Archive saves it all.”
The POPFLEX team has reclaimed their weekends, thanks to Archive’s 24/7 tracking. Even though influencers post a lot on the weekends, all their content and real-time stats are waiting in Archive when Kristen and her team get back to work on Monday morning.
For example, Kristen was on a plane one Friday night when she hit the influencer jackpot: Taylor Swift was wearing POPFLEX. All of a sudden, the Archive Slack integration popped off; the Swifties were all tagging POPFLEX in their posts about Tay’s latest fit.
“We found out Taylor Swift was wearing POPFLEX because of Archive.”
The “lilac short skirt”—POPFLEX’s Pirouette Lavender Skort—even made it into a song on Taylor’s Tortured Poets Department album.
The boost from Taylor Swift sent POPFLEX’s stream of UGC into overdrive. They’ve gone from about 200 posts a month to thousands. It’s a dream come true for the brand, and Archive helps them make the momentum meaningful; Kristen says she would not be able to keep up with POPFLEX’s program growth without Archive.
