About Clio Snacks

Clio Snacks makes refrigerated Greek yogurt bars built around a single idea: permissible indulgence, a treat you can feel good about and eat any time of day. The bars are refrigerated rather than frozen, so where shoppers can find them matters as much as the product itself, and Clio is now carried nationwide across major retailers.

Georgia Brooker is Clio's Influencer and Community Marketing Manager and has been with the brand for more than four and a half years, since its early startup days. Archive has been part of her toolkit almost that entire time.

The Challenge

When Georgia started, Clio's marketing team was just two people wearing every hat: influencer, ambassador, and social all at once. The most time-consuming part was simply keeping a record of what people were posting. The team was physically screenshotting Story mentions before they disappeared inside the 24-hour window, dropping them into shared folders, then finding a way to export and share them with the rest of the company.

It did not scale. As Georgia put it, the team reached a point where it either needed to hire another person or find a tool that would make them more efficient. They chose the tool, and have kept it as the team has grown.

The Solution

Clio came to Archive, fittingly, as an archive. Social Listening captures every tagged post and Story automatically, and it was the one platform Georgia had found that preserved Story history. That mattered, because a tagged feed post lives on a profile forever, but a Story vanishes in a day, and Stories are most often where everyday consumers show their love for the brand.

The team runs a weekly cadence, logging in on Mondays to catch anything posted over the weekend and checking in more frequently during a launch. For campaigns, Clio builds a Collection: when it launched a Target-exclusive cherry flavor, the team gathered every tagged Story from influencers and everyday shoppers into a Target Cherry collection, then shared it with the sales team through a public link, so a team less steeped in social could see the response for themselves. The same Collections track gifting mailers and the ratio of sends to posts.

Because the product is refrigerated, gifting carries real cost and logistics: sends go out overnight or two-day, which makes the seed-to-post ratio something the team watches closely and pushes them toward mid-tier and micro creators. On the paid side, Clio whitelists influencer content rather than repurposing organic UGC.

Most recently, the team has started building organic superfans into outreach lists and using Competitor Insights both to benchmark against like-minded brands like Perfect Bar and to source creators who already post about adjacent products. Unlimited seats mean Clio can bring its PR and gifting agency onto the platform to work from the same source of truth.

"Out of all the platforms we looked into, this was the only one that recorded Story history, which was super important for us. A tagged post you can find pretty easily, but a Story goes away. Being able to document that and refer back to it was so valuable, especially because those are usually our everyday consumers."

The Results

By putting every mention in one place, Clio replaced hours of manual screenshotting with a single shared link, which has quietly become the bridge between the digital team and a sales team that is less plugged into social. During a launch, sales can see the consumer response in real time and get excited by new-flavor content; the team can pull a quarterly gifting recap in minutes instead of rebuilding it by hand.

  • A two-person startup team scaled its influencer, ambassador, and social work without adding headcount just to track content
  • Every tagged Story preserved in one place, no longer lost to the 24-hour window
  • Campaign Collections and public links that connect the social and sales teams around retail launches
  • Newly expanding into Competitor Insights for creator sourcing and benchmarking, with agency partners on unlimited seats
"Coming from a startup that's grown into a big company, it's been a super useful tool for a smaller team. You're able to take on social listening, influencer efforts, and streamline your processes while connecting easily to other departments like sales and brand. We've been here many years now, with no intention of stopping."
